Despite the name suggesting caution, Rory Milanes and Danny Brady have thrown convention aside and been promoted to work on a new shoe this spring: the Safe Low.
Its first iteration was introduced via a collaboration between Vans Skateboarding and Palace in 2023, with an office-inspired campaign featuring Vans and Palace team skaters Rory and Brady.
For the Spring 2024 season, the London duo has updated the silhouette with their own design touches. The Safe Low is a new vulcanized skate shoe, inspired by iconic Vans styles from the archive.
Available in two colorways – Rory’s all-white leather and Danny’s baby blue style – the shoe features custom art from each skater, with artwork from Rory’s partner and Palace artist John Knight adorning Rory’s shoe. Featuring Ghillie laces and a sock liner for a secure and comfortable fit, the Safe Low promises unrivaled comfort during your skate sessions.
