Vans announces the launch of the "United Through Skateboarding" collection created in collaboration with photographer and cultural documentarian Atiba Jefferson. This capsule collection pays homage to the connections forged through skateboarding and reflects Atiba's creative journey, from the streets to the studio, to the culture that has influenced his life and work. Known for capturing some of the most iconic skate images of all time, his impact extends far beyond skateboarding, touching on music, fashion, art, and sports.
The collection features footwear, apparel, and accessories, each informed by Atiba's visual language: from his signature photographs to new graphics, including a custom logo and original artwork by graffiti artist Haze. The campaign, directed by Atiba himself, features skaters, artists, musicians, and athletes such as Lizzie Armanto, Zion Wright, Curren Caples, Cocona Hiraki, and many others, demonstrating how skateboarding can transcend differences and unite diverse communities.

Highlights include the Half Cab® Skate with a WaffleCup™ sole, featuring a custom insole featuring a photo by John Cardiel and illustrations by Haze. The apparel and accessories line was personally curated by Atiba, featuring functional details and never-before-seen photography.

"United Through Skateboarding" isn't just a collection, it's a celebration of the community and freedom that skateboarding represents. The first installment is available today, with a second drop scheduled for October 16, 2025.
